We are a fourth generation family farm currently owned and operated by Paul and Melissa Drake. We are located in Pinetops, North Carolina and are farming land that has been passed down through Paul’s family.
We added the beach grass nursery (started by Melissa’s family, Betty and Phil Edwards, in 1982) to the existing farming operation in 2002. Drake Farms/Edwards Nursery has supplied over 30 million beach grass plants for the re-nourishment of our coastal dunes.
